Chad Collins is multidimensional artist whose work has led into mostly focus on Pottery and its ability to directly work impact the daily life of the owner, by working to elevate the most mundane tasks into aesthetic experiences. a well made pot is both aesthetically engaging and tactiley inviting. Simple meal or drink can be consumed disposed of without thought adding nothing but the calories need to sustain your self for the day. Chad pots invites the user to pause and enjoy the tactile quality of the work while the bold color work invites the eye around the form. Bold glaze colors and forms push and pull the eye while inviting your hands to touch and hold. Chad Collins received his BA in History and BFA in Painting from the University of Central Missouri in 2009 and his MAT in Art Education from the University of Central Missouri in 2012.
